Information needed for competing in the Offaly Fleadh Cheoil 2019...

Fleadh Cheoil Uíbh Fhailí will be hosted by Edenderry Comhaltas & Rhode Comhaltas.

Dancing Competitions on Friday 26th April, St. Mary's PRIMARY School.

Other Competitions on Saturday & Sunday 27-28 April in St. Mary's SECONDARY SCHOOL, Edenderry.

ALL BRANCH MEMBERS MUST ENTER THROUGH THEIR BRANCH SECRETARY. Please find relevant documents at bottom of this page.

ONLY NON MEMBERS WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER DIRECTLY TO COUNTY BOARD. 
 

All non members should download the non member entry form at the bottom of this page and contact the County Secretary, Betty Digan. email: offaly@comhaltas.net

 

CLOSING DATE FOR FLEADH CHEOIL UÍBH FHAILÍ

is MARCH 21st 2019.
 
No entries will be accepted after this date!!!  

All secretaries will receive the entry form process by email.. 
Step by step instructions will be attached to it on how to complete the entry system.
 
We ask all branches to make sure that all interested members active and non active in the branch are notified. They must also inform all music teachers, set dancing teachers, singing teachers, bands and group coordinators of the closing date.
 
It would be great if members could push the following competitions this year:
 
- COMHRÁ GAEILGE* (Samples available at the following link http://comhaltas.ie/education/comhra)
- GRUPAÍ CHEOIL
- CEILI BANDS
- SET DANCING
- MARCHING BANDS

Note also that we have two competitions at Fleadh Cheoil Uíbh Fhailí this year:
